Sharyn Constable
Sharyn studied Classical Ballet for 11yrs with Estella Nova and Jeffrey Kovel, 2 years at Scully Borovansky and 4 years at Bodenweisser Dance Centre. Other genre studies included Flamenco and Spanish Dance styles, Jazz, Primitive, Aboriginal, Character, Contemporary and Lyrical.
Sharyn completed RAD Teaching Diploma in 1990 and her Advanced RAD Teaching Diploma in 1999 - which incorporated Diplomas in Dance History; Anatomy and Child Psychology and Development. Over the years, Sharyn has completed many courses relating to dance, such as Level 1 Dance Physiotherapy, Pilates, Nutrition for Dancers, Methodology in Dance, Music and numerous others.
After owning and running her own school for 21 years, the school was sold and she is now Teaching and Coaching Freelance. Sharyn became an examiner for the Royal Acadamy of Dance in 2003 and a PTS for RAD in 2019 and currently still holds both these positions.
In 2017 Sharyn became a Qualified DIR Floortime Therapist and began a Dance school for children with support needs - Dance Over the Spectrum - working with and assisting children with conditons such as ADHD, Austism, Cerebral Palsy and more, as a dance teacher and therapist In 2021, to help assist students and teachers stay on top of their work and to help inspire and motivate their thinking and knowledge, opened a coaching, mentoring and tutoring school 'Tout le Ballet' for teachers and students, both online and face to face. Sharyn is a member of IADMS, Profectum and the RAD “I have a passion to teach and educate dance and music to children of all ages and abilities and to assist and inspire teachers, where ever I can."
